Day 1

Fly to New York

Today, arrive in New York City and transfer independently to your hotel.

Day 2

New York

A full day in the Big Apple to see the sights, shop until you drop and try out the great bars and restaurants. Go to the top of the Empire State Building, cruise the Hudson River, stroll Central Park, visit one of the world-class museums.

Day 3

New York - Finger Lake Region - Buffalo (381 miles)

Today drive across New York state through the Finger Lakes Country and towards the Canadian border. You could indulge in a spot of wine-tasting at Watkins Glen on the shores of Lake Seneca. Drive onto Buffalo for for the night.

Day 4

Buffalo – Niagara Falls - Buffalo (40 Miles)

Today take a short drive to Niagara Falls, perhaps take a ride aboard the Maid of the Mist  or cross the border to Canada to take a stroll along Table Rock to view the thundering waters of the Horseshoe Fall. Return to Buffalo for overnight

Day 5

Buffalo - Amish Country (150 miles)

Depart Buffalo and travel into Pennsylvania Dutch country, also known as Amish Country. The lifestyle of the Amish people embraces the areas natural beauty. Explore the region before checking into your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 6

Amish Country - Gettysberg - Washington D.C (268 miles)

This morning travel through the Appalachian Mountains along the picturesque Susquehanna Rover, the longest river on the American East Coast. Visit the historic Gettyburg Civil War National Battleground, site of the largest battle ever fought on American soil. From here journey to the nations capital, Washington D.C. This evening we suggest making time to see the city monuments by night.

Day 7

Washington D.C.

Enjoy the visiting D.C with such highlights as the U.S. Capitol Building, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, the F.B.I. Building, Washington monument, Lincoln Memorial,the White House and Arlington National Cemetery, site of the JFK Memorial. Spend the remainder of the day exploring some of the many museums.

Day 8

Washington DC - Philadelphia (139 Miles)

This morning, continue your journey to Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love" and the birthplace of America, where the declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4th 1776. Here you will see the Liberty Bell and the Independence Hall. This evening make time for an optional dinner at one of the cities most famous venues for the local delicacy of Philly Cheese Steak.

Day 9

Philadelphia - New York Departure (96 Miles)

This morning return to New York City for your flight home, dropping off the hire car at the airport
