Days 1 to 2

Washington

Fly into Washington DC for a two night stay. Make your way independently to your hotel, we recommend you simply pick up a taxi at the airport, for ease after your flight.

See the incredible National Mall starting from the Capitol Building and ending at Lincoln Memorial, passing by the Washington Monument, WWII Memorial, Korean and Vietnam Memorials and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Walk round to the White House and end up in Downtown Washington with upscale stores and fine dining. Explore the the hustle and bustle of Penn Quarter, visit Arlington Cemetery or take your pick on the many Smithsonian Museums throughough Washington. You can explore much of DC on foot, but there are also some great bus, bike or segway tours that we can book for you before your trip.

Day 3

Philadelphia

Depart from Union Station this morning to Philadelphia. Your Amtrak train allows you to relax and enjoy the comfort and service of rail travel. Explore this marvellous city, home to Independence National Park, with the Liberty Bell, Franklin Court and Independence Hall. Discover the city’s many museums - from the Franklin Institute to the Rodin Museum. See, up close, the Liberty Bell, which marks the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence. Tread upon the floorboards where Betsy Ross stitched the American flag. Explore the historic Independence Hall, where the US was born.

Overnight: Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square or similar

Days 4 to 5

New York

Depart this morning to the City that Never Sleeps aka The Big Apple! New York, famous for its iconic skyscrapers, Central Park, shopping and superb dining scene. Explore the many neighbourhoods such as Midtown, Chelsea, Soho, Financial District and Brooklyn, each with their own distinct character. Take a ferry to visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, go at sunset to the many observation decks for uninterrupted landscape views or hire bikes and take the scenic route throughout Central Park.

Days 6 to 7

Boston

Your final destination is Boston, a city steeped in history and culture. After a morning train journey from city centre, check into your chosen hotel for your final two nights.

Walk the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile path passing by 16 significant landmarks like the Massachusetts State House and Paul Revere's House. Explore the prestigious Harvard University and immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of Quincy Market. Throughout your time, sample delicious regional cuisine, enjoy entertaining shows, and interact with locals to truly grasp the unique spirit of each city.

Day 8

Fly home

Take time for last minute shopping or simply relax by the waters edge with sampling delicious fresh seafood before you head to Boston airport for your homeward flight.
