Day 1
Fly to New Orleans, Louisiana
Begin your tour in the home of jazz and blues, New Orleans. Upon arrival, pick up your rental car at the airport and proceed to your hotel. Enjoy your evening at leisure.
Day 2
New Orleans
Today you'll have plenty of time to explore the "Big Easy". Wander down 1018 Royal to see where Elvis sang and wiggled his hips in King Creole, and where Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt shot Interview with the Vampire. Just around the corner, you’ll find more King Creole filming locations, whilst Chartres Street was the location for the jazz funeral in the opening scene of the James Bond film Live and Let Die. Meanwhile, you’ll also find plenty of filming locations for Ray, the 2004 biopic featuring Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles. Or perhaps take a ride on the mighty Mississippi River. Or take one of the specialist tours - there are ghost and cemetery tours, cocktail and cuisine tours, voodoo and historic tours.
Day 3
New Orleans - Biloxi Mississippi (90 miles)
Heading out of New Orleans today to one of the oldest communities in the country, Biloxi. here you'll find stunning sugar white beaches, a wide range of championship golf courses, casinos and historic sights. A great location for deep sea diving and fresh water fishing, the seafood is not to be missed.
Day 4
Biloxi - Pensacola Florida (119 miles)
Travel through Alabama and into Florida's Panhandle. Your destination today is the picturesque Pensacola. Blue skies meet the emerald green waters of the Gulf coast. Explore the ancient ruins of the historic forts, one of the museums, or relax on one the beautiful beaches soakings up the Floridian sun.
Day 5
Pensacola - Tallahassee Florida (195 miles)
Continue heading east along the Panhandle towards Tallahassee. Before checking in for your nights stay, you could visit the beautiful Wakulla Springs State Park - home of the world's largest and deepest freshwater springs. Here you can take a riverboat trip to spot manatees, alligators and other wildlife in the ancient cypress swamps.
Day 6
Tallahassee - Crystal River Florida (165 miles)
Heading further south down the Gulf coast today to the Citrus County. Crystal River's untouched forests and warm climate are perfect for exploring nature. Here you can swim with Manatees in their natural habitat - amazing aquatic mammals who slowly swim through the warm waters of Crystal River.
Day 7
Crystal River - Tampa Bay Florida (79 miles)
Continuing along the Gulf passing the award-winning beaches of Clearwater and St Pete's. An arrival into Tampa Bay. A trendy destination, with innovative restaurants, craft breweries, jazz bars, leisurely outdoor recreation, shopping and contemporary architecture aplenty. Visit Ybor city, founded in the 1880s by cigar manufacturers and known for its boutiques and vintage shops.
Day 8
Tampa - Naples Florida (166 miles)
A quick stop en route to Sanibel Island where the powder white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters await you. Heading on the stylish Naples which offers unspoiled beaches, stylish boutiques, art galleries and lovely restaurants. Olde Naples Seaport and Naples Marina are popular for excursions, whilst Bayfront, the popular shopping center sits at the end of Fifth Avenue South and offers designer outlets as well as national chains.
Day 9
Naples - Miami Florida (126 miles)
Cross “Alligator Alley” today via the stunning Everglades National Park. Perhaps take an airboat tour where you’ll see an array of wildlife combined with a thrilling experience. Arrive into Miami where you will end your holiday with two nights in this great seaside city.
Day 10
Miami
Enjoy the art deco vibe at Miami Beach or explore the bustling open-air markets of Little Havana. Glistening beaches, Cuban inspired dining and entertainment, and contemporary architecture are waiting to be explored.
Day 11
Depart Miami
Today it's time to say farewell to Miami as your adventure comes to an end. After a few final hours of exploring, head to the airport to return your rental car for your departing flight.
