Las Vegas - Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon National Park
Start your journey, passing through St George on the way to Zion National Park with its spectacular rock formations. You’ll then move onto Bryce Canyon National Park to see more incredible scenery, with sandstone ’hoodos’ filling a vast natural amphitheatre.

Bryce Canyon - Salt Lake City
Head northwards to Utah’s capital Salt Lake City, founded in 1847 by Mormon pioneers led by Brigham Young. It’s now a thriving city of some 1.6 million people and base of the 10-million-strong Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A city orientation tour will take you to sights like Temple Square and the Salt Lake Tabernacle and the Assembly Hall. In the evening you could join an optional dinner at historic Lion House restaurant, visiting Bingham Young’s home Beehive House on the way, or you could choose to spend the evening independently.

Salt Lake City - Jackson
Leave the city behind and skirt the Great Salt Lake to pick up the Oregon Trail, which was the only passable route west in the 19th century. It will take you to Jackson, Wyoming, an authentic old-west town. The snow-capped Grand Teton mountains loom majestically to the north. Enjoy an evening meal in the town square at an atmospheric local restaurant.

Jackson - Grand Teton National Park - Yellowstone National Park (2 nights)
There is an optional trip down a scenic section of the Snake River this morning (seasonal), before the tour continues through Grand Teton National Park to reach Yellowstone National Park for a two-night stay. This geothermic landscape is also home to plentiful wildlife, including bears, elk and one of the few remaining large buffalo herds. You will enter the park from the South Entrance, weather permitting, between mid-May and mid-October; otherwise the tour will travel through the West Entrance.

Yellowstone National Park
Spend the whole day on a tour of Yellowstone National Park, taking in the Lower Falls, Midway Geyser Basin, Hayden Meadow and plenty of hot pools, mud pots and geysers, including of course, the legendary Old Faithful.

Yellowstone - Cody - Billings
Today you’ll drive to Cody, named after Buffalo Bill Cody, famous Wild West showman, whose life is commemorated at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center along with plenty of other fascinating exhibits about the old west. Continue onwards through the old cattle town of Billings in Montana. You’ll have dinner at your hotel in Billings this evening.

Billings - Deadwood - Rapid City
Travel first to the Little Bighorn National Monument where General Custer made his infamous last stand in June 1876. Next you’ll travel to South Dakota to stop at the old west town of Deadwood, made famous from the TV series. There will be a narrated tour on a trolleybus in the town to learn all about it former lawless times. The tour will then move onto Rapid City for a two-night stay.

Black Hills excursion
Start the day by travelling through the Black Hills to reach the Crazy Horse Memorial before stopping at Mount Rushmore, where four American Presidents are carved out of the rock face. Spend the evening at leisure in Rapid City.

Rapid City - Denver
Our day begins with a drive through the Black Hills National Forest where Ponderosa pines, spruce and aspen forests provide a home for a variety of wildlife. Then we continue on through the National Grassland prairies of South Dakota and Wyoming en route to Colorado’s capital city – Denver, also known as the “Mile-High City.” (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Denver - Arches National Park - Moab
We drive into the Rocky Mountains and stop at the famous resort of Vail where there is time for a short stroll through this quaint alpine village. Following the Colorado River, we travel through the spectacular scenery of the Rockies and arrive in Utah. Here we explore the amazing wonderland of Arches National Park where natural stone arches and balancing rock formations are scattered all around us. Then on to Moab for our overnight stay. Moab - Mesa Verde - Kayenta
Today our Tour Director will reveal another Hidden Treasure with us! We visit Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we enjoy a tour highlighting some of the archeological finds which help us piece together how the Native American tribes lived in the canyons of Mesa Verde. From here our journey continues to Kayenta, on the Navajo Indian Reservation for our overnight stay. (Full breakfast / Dinner)

Kayenta - Monument Valley - Grand Canyon.
We join a local guide and explore the giant, world-famous monoliths of Monument Valley aboard open-air vehicles. We then continue to the magnificent Grand Canyon for our overnight stay. There is plenty of time to explore this natural wonder, stroll the rim or maybe venture down the Bright Angel Trail. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow traveling companions. Later join your Tour Director for a walk along the rim at sunset (Full breakfast / Farewell Dinner)

Grand Canyon - Depart Las Vegas.
This morning is at leisure for optional flightseeing tours over the Grand Canyon before we drive along parts of the famous Route 66 as we head back toward Las Vegas. En route, we cross the Colorado River into Nevada and arrive in Las Vegas. Complimentary transfers to Las Vegas International Airport and the Trafalgar hotel in Las Vegas for passengers extending their stay are provided (Full breakfast)

Today we travel through St. George before reaching Zion National Park. See the massive and colorful rock formations of Zion Canyon ascending toward the blue sky. Next, on to Bryce Canyon National Park, where sandstone spires refl ect vibrant hues from every vista point. Here we visit the amphitheater of hoodoos, the odd shaped stone monoliths. Bryce Canyon – Salt Lake City
Today our Tour Director shares a Hidden Treasure with us. We’re off to Salt Lake City, headquarters of the Mormon religion. Here our orientation tour includes the Assembly Hall and the Tabernacle, home of the famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir. (Full breakfast)

Salt Lake City – Jackson
We travel north along the edge of the Great Salt Lake and across the Oregon Trail en route to Jackson. There is time to wander through this authentic old-western town before this evening’s Highlight Dinner. (Full breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Jackson – Grand Teton – Yellowstone National Park (2 nights)
We travel through the scenic Grand Teton National Park, past sparkling Jenny Lake, on our way to Yellowstone National Park, an amazing geothermal wonderland. Home to an astounding array of elk and bears, Yellowstone also has one of the few large herds of buffalo still in existence. We stay inside Yellowstone for two nights, with plenty of time to enjoy the spectacular surroundings. (When the South Entrance is closed due to weather conditions, the tour will travel west from Jackson via Idaho and enter Yellowstone National Park through the West Entrance.)
