Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Los Angeles

Land in Los Angeles and make your way to your hotel via shuttle bus. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Overnight: Hilton Los Angeles Airport or similar

Day 2

Las Vegas

Be greeted by your Tour Manager as you depart for Las Vegas, home of the mega casinos and Entertainment Capital. Stop by the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign for a photo opportunity as you head into the glittering city. Take in the sights as you walk the strip and marvel at the towering Bellagio Fountains. How about finishing off the evening with an optional fantastic live show and dinner?

Overnight: Luxor Las Vegas or similar

Day 3

Mammoth Lakes or *Fresno

Swap the bright lights and casino sounds of Las Vegas to the stark desert of Death Valley. Known for its blazing temperatures, its deemed one of the hottest places in the world alongside the deserts in the Middle East. Stop at Zabriskie Point and Furnace Creek Ranch Visitors Centre before journeying on across the valley and ascending the Sierra Nevada Mountains towards the quaint alpine resort of Mammoth Lake.

*If the weather conditions cause the Tioga Pass to be closed, typically between October and May, the overnight stay will be in Fresno.

Overnight: Mammoth Mountain Inn or similar (Winter route - Hampton Inn Fresno Airport or similar, breakfast included)

Day 4

Yosemite National Park

Descend from the Sierra Nevada Mountains through the Tioga Pass (weather permitting) into the picturesque Yosemite Valley where you’ll see the magnificent Bridal Veil, Yosemite Falls, El Capitan and Half Dome. Stay overnight in Sacramento.

Overnight: Doubletree by Hilton Modesto or similar

Day 5

San Francisco

Departing early from Sacramento to your last city stop in San Francisco, home of Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, iconic cable cars and of course that bridge. Enjoy an in-depth sightseeing tour of the city before arriving at your hotel. How about an optional evening tour of the city?

Day 6

San Francisco

Enjoy this bustling city at your leisure! How about a gorgeous cruise along the bay as you see the city from a different angle with its stunning skyline and great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and famous Alcatraz Prison. Stroll around Union Square for a bit of shopping and don’t forget to try San Francisco’s Ghiradelli’s Chocolate or head to Fisherman’s wharf for some delicious local seafood. Another fabulous option is a trip towards the infamous Napa Valley for a stunning wine tasting tour, renowned for its wine and stunning scenery.
