Days 1-2

Chicago

Upon arrival in Chicago, check in to your hotel for a two-night stay. Spend the next couple of days exploring this vibrant and exciting city.

Day 3

Chicago

In the morning you will enjoy a city highlights tour, before embarking on your ship to begin the cruise.

Day 4

Lake Michigan

Today you will cruise along Lake Michigan, looking for a variety of wildlife including crayfish, trout, hawks, bald eagles and swans. The sunsets along Lake Michigan are beautiful.

Day 5

Mackinac Island, Michigan

Today you will the opportunity to explore Mackinac Island. Enjoy a tour by horse drawn carriage, enjoy a delicious local lunch at the legendary Grand Hotel, and enjoy the amazing views from the porch.

Day 6

Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

This destination is brimming in culture and history. You’ll enjoy an interesting tour of the waterfront, visit the Soo Locks observation deck or peer into the preserved fur traders’ settlement homes on Water Street.

Day 7

Little Current (Manitoulin Island), Canada

Today you will explore the world’s largest freshwater island, home to huge granite outcrops and rolling farmland. There is lots of culture to discover here, including in the largest town, Little Current.

Day 8

Lake Huron

You’ll stay on the ship today and sail along Lake Huron, the second largest arena of inland sea in America’s Great Lakes. Spend the day dining, reading your book, and enjoying the views on the deck.

Day 9

Detroit, Michigan

Spend day nine exploring bustling Detroit. Why not join the optional tour of the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, or opt to see the Detroit Institute of Arts and its 100-plus galleries?

Day 10

Cleveland, Ohio

Today you will explore Cleveland, a reinvented city with a trendy atmosphere and great attractions. Take the time to visit the Cleveland Museum of Art and the colourful Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. There’s also an optional premium experience to Geauga County for an insight into the Amish lifestyle.

Day 11

Niagara Falls, Canada

You’ll begin the day with a visit to the amazing Niagara Falls. Why not take part in the optional premium experience and hop on a Hornblower catamaran ride into the mist of the falls. After your visit, you’ll enjoy lunch in the rotating Skylon Tower, before an afternoon of wine tasting at a local winery and shopping at Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Day 12

Toronto, Canada

Today you will disembark. You can spend the day exploring this fabulous city, and we recommend booking a night or two so you can really experience all it has to offer.
