Channelling the romantic beauty and charm of 1950s New York, a Vintage Wedding offers a truly unique experience for an unforgettable wedding day. With your ceremony taking place at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park, you’ll enjoy an incredibly beautiful wedding beside the lake.

Step back in time and relive the golden age of the Big Apple with this vintage themed New York wedding.  Ladies Pavilion is a five-minute walk from 77th Street on Central Park West Side. This Vintage cast iron structure overlooks the lake and is nestled in a quieter, more intimate area of Central Park. This location is ideal for small weddings and has an amazing view of the Manhattan Skyline.

When you leave your hotel, start your wedding photography beside your authentic NYC Checker Taxicab, and then you’ll be whisked away to Central Park for the ceremony. You’ll have the accompaniment of a Wedding Coordinator on the day, as well as the services of the authentic checker cab, a bridal rose bouquet & matching groom’s buttonhole, and a private photographer and tour following the ceremony. Leaving Central Park, you’ll board your vintage cab and drive to the famous Flatiron Building, located at 175 Fifth Avenue for more exclusive wedding photography. Here, you will also can take photos in front of the Empire State Building as well as Times Square.

Step back in time and relive the golden age of the Big Apple with this vintage themed New York wedding.  We have carefully selected the ideal wedding venue, Ladies Pavilion in Central Park to give you the look and feel of 1950’s New York.  Ladies Pavilion is a 5 minute walk from 77th Street on Central Park West Side.  This Vintage cast iron structure overlooks the lake and is nestled in a quieter area of Central Park. This location is ideal for small weddings and has an amazing view of the Manhattan Skyline. Combine the ultimate Central Park venue when you leave your hotel and start your wedding photography with the authentic NYC Checker taxicab and be the envy of passers-by.  Then you will be whisked away in the vintage Cab to Central Park for your wedding ceremony.  However your day will not end there.  Leaving Central Park, your will board your vintage cab and drive to the famous Flatiron Building, located at 175 Fifth Avenue for more exclusive wedding photographs.  Here you will have the opportunity to have the Empire State Building and the Flatiron building as your photograph backdrops with the vintage cab as well as additional photo opportunities on Times Square.

  • Minimum residency period prior to marriage: 1 working day
  • Minimum age : 18
  • Minimum stay in New York : 5 nights
  • Weddings take place : Monday – Friday

Documents Required:

•        Valid original 10-year UK passport which expires more than 6 months after the date of your return to the UK.

•        Marriage licence (applied for in New York)

If Required

•        If you have been divorced, decree absolute. If divorced more than once, please bring all your original decree absolutes.

•        If you have been widowed, the original copy of your partner's death certificate.

•        If you have changed your name, the original copy of the deed poll

•        If you were adopted, the original copy of your adoption certificate.

Before you travel:

We do not require any documents to be sent in advance.

When you get there:

We would recommend a 5 night stay in New York.  At least 24 hours before your wedding day you need to apply for a New York marriage licence.  This is a very simple process which you can complete as a couple together.  You must allow for a full 24 hours to pass from obtaining the licence before you can get married. The cost of your licence is included in your wedding package.  You must both apply in person to the New York City Clerk’s Office, however this is a very simple and easy process and the New York wedding planner will go through all these details in your pre-wedding meeting when you arrive.  Please advise if you have any guests attending as larger groups may incur a park fee.
