Day 1   Fly to San Francisco

Arrive in San Francisco and make your own way to your centrally located hotel. After unpacking, step out to explore the city’s unique energy and charm. For a sweet introduction, head to Ghirardelli Square. Once home to the famed chocolate company, this historic brick complex features boutique shops, gourmet restaurants, and the flagship Ghirardelli Chocolate Experience, where you can sample rich chocolate squares or indulge in towering hot fudge sundaes. Stay in San Francisco for 3 nights.

Days 2 to 3   San Francisco

Discover San Francisco’s iconic allure. Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge for panoramic bay views, glide along steep streets aboard a historic cable car, and dive into Fisherman’s Wharf for fresh seafood and waterfront energy. Step into vibrant Chinatown to explore bustling markets, hand-rolled dim sum, and the historic Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory. Days 4 to 6  San Francisco – Yosemite National Park (170 miles)

Collect your rental car either from the airport or downtown and cross the Bay Bridge towards Yosemite National Park. Here, towering granite icons like El Capitan and Half Dome rise dramatically above serene valley meadows and winding rivers. Explore accessible walking paths, tackle rewarding mountain trails, or stand beneath ancient giants in Mariposa Grove. Pause for a peaceful moment along the Merced River, immersing yourself in one of America's most breath taking wilderness escapes. Stay in Yosemite area for 3 nights.

Days 7 to Day 9   Yosemite National Park to Sonoma (180 miles)

Spend three idyllic days relaxing in Sonoma, the heart of California’s wine country. Stroll historic Sonoma Plaza, savour farm-to-table cuisine, and taste world-class Chardonnays and Cabernets across picturesque, sun-dappled vineyards. Unwind with artisanal food pairings, scenic drives through rolling hills, or a gentle hike in Jack London State Historic Park. On your return to San Francisco International Airport (60 miles), drive back over the Golden Gate Bridge for a spectacular finale to your Northern California adventure. Stay in Sonoma for 3 nights.

Day 10   Sonoma to San Francisco International Airport  (60 miles)

Drive back today from Sonoma to San Francisco International Airport, picking up last minute souvenirs and dropping off your car rental at the airport.
