DAY 1

Nashville

Fly to Nashville and pick up your hire car. After checking into your hotel, take a stroll to one of the many live music bars to enjoy your first the tastes and sounds of the south.

Overnight: Ramada Downtown Nashville

DAY 2

Nashville

A full day to experience Nashville – visit the Country Music Hall of Fame or take a tour of the Ryman Auditorium where the biggest country music stars play. You could also visit RCA’s Studio B, one of the world’s most famous recording studios. Perhaps head to Grand Ole Opry this evening, home to America’s longest running live radio show.

DAY 3

Nashville - Memphis (212 miles)

Hit the road and head along the Mississippi Delta to Memphis, the birthplace of Rock’n’Roll and Blues music.  Stroll along the famous Beale Street with shops and nightclubs where you can listen to live music.

DAY 4

Memphis

Soak up the atmosphere of Memphis, visit the National Civil Rights Museum or head to Graceland, the estate of Elvis Presley. Here you can take an unforgettable tour through the most famous rock n roll residence in the world.

DAY 5

Memphis – Natchez (304 miles)

Head south to the historic plantation town of Natchez. Here you will discover a world of antebellum houses and southern hospitality.

DAY 6

Natchez – New Orleans (172 miles)

Head for the bright lights of New Orleans. Perhaps start with an evening on the town sampling the local Creole cuisine and soaking up the atmosphere in a jazz club

DAY 7

New Orleans

A full day to explore this fascinating city – there are several tours on offer, by horse and cart, on a Mississippi river boat or a classic city tour. Or do your own thing and choose from the Voodoo Museum, wander around iconic Jackson Square and St Louis Cathedral, explore the French Quarter or visit the historic Lafayette Cemetery.

DAY 8

Fly home

End your Southern Adventure and head to the airport to return home. Or you could extend your stay in New Orleans for a few more nights of fun in this vibrant city.
