Tonight you will be staying in Islamorada, widely regarded as the fishing capital of the world.  After you have checked into your hotel you will have plenty of time to explore the area, maybe check out the many galleries and shops, and sample the delights of the fine restaurants and bars. For the perfect end to the day why not sit and enjoy the gorgeous sunset over the Bay.

Day Two   Islamorada – Key West

It is a great base for a variety of watersport activities and is famous for its wild tarpon, which you will have an opportunity to feed. There is also a flea market and a good restaurant so it’s a perfect stop en-route to Key West.

Leave Islamorada and travel South via US1, one of the most scenic roads in the USA, which links all the islands together and runs along the iconic 7 mile bridge, one of the longest bridges in the world.
After 2 hours you will reach Key West. Check in to your hotel and the rest of the day is yours to explore this wonderful island. The Conch Tour Train is one way of exploring and you can hop-on hop-off at major attractions such as The Hemmingway House and The Southernmost point. It has such a colourful history it is no wonder people have been drawn to visit this colourful city over the centuries.

When the sun goes down the island comes alive with the sunset celebrations on Mallory Square. This nightly festival welcomes visitors from all over the world to watch the magicians, jugglers and local musicians and is a cultural experience not to be missed.
