This self-drive add-on will see you enjoy 3 or 4 fun-packed days with included activities such as cruising in a glass bottom boat, feeding the Tarpons and a visit to the Theatre of The Sea. Here you will have the opportunity to make your dreams come true by swimming and interacting with Dolphins in a natural salt water lagoon.
Day to Day Itinerary.

Day One Islamorada
Leaving mainland Florida behind you will instantly feel yourself begin to relax as you cross the first bridge and arrive in the beautiful Florida Keys. First stop is Key Largo where you will take to the water for a 2 hour glass bottom boat cruise on board the Key Largo Princess. Wonder at the beautiful colours and variety of life on the reef, and see the Keys from the best perspective of all; the water!
Tonight you will be staying in Islamorada, widely regarded as the fishing capital of the world. After you have checked into your hotel you will have plenty of time to explore the area, maybe check out the many galleries and shops, and sample the delights of the fine restaurants and bars. For the perfect end to the day why not sit and enjoy the gorgeous sunset over the Bay.

Day Two Islamorada – Key West
Today you will start with a visit to Robbie’s Marina in Islamorada, which is one of the must-see places in the Florida Keys. It is a great base for a variety of watersport activities and is famous for its wild tarpon, which you will have an opportunity to feed. There is also a flea market and a good restaurant so it’s a perfect stop en-route to Key West.
Leave Islamorada and travel South via US1, one of the most scenic roads in the USA, which links all the islands together and runs along the iconic 7 mile bridge, one of the longest bridges in the world.
After 2 hours you will reach Key West. Check in to your hotel and the rest of the day is yours to explore this wonderful island. The Conch Tour Train is one way of exploring and you can hop-on hop-off at major attractions such as The Hemmingway House and The Southernmost point. It has such a colourful history it is no wonder people have been drawn to visit this colourful city over the centuries.
When the sun goes down the island comes alive with the sunset celebrations on Mallory Square. This nightly festival welcomes visitors from all over the world to watch the magicians, jugglers and local musicians and is a cultural experience not to be missed.

Day 3 Key West
A morning at leisure to explore Key West, or maybe to just relax by the pool or on the beach.
Make your way to the old harbour in town and prepare for an experience you will never forget. Kayak around the waters of the “Back Country” admiring the Mangrove Islands and beautiful scenery around Key West, while enjoying the best seat in the house to view the National Wildlife Refuge from above and below the water. You will also be able to snorkel in this wondrous underwater world, with its diverse eco system. The captain will ensure the catamaran is positioned in a fully shaded spot so you can have a rest from the heat of the sun between activities should you wish.
After returning to your hotel the evening is free for you to enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Key West and its many bars and restaurants.

Day 4 Leaving the Keys
This morning you will leave Key West and make you way north for your stop at the Theatre of the Sea. Established in 1946, it is the second oldest marine mammal facility in the world and sits upon 17 acres of beautiful tropical gardens and pretty lagoons. It is home to dolphins, sea lions, sea turtles stingrays, sharks, crocodilians and parrots. Spend a relaxing day watching the various shows or make a dream come true by getting into the water and swimming with a Dolphin.
The “Swim With the Dolphin” programme enables you to interact with Atlantic bottle nose dolphins in a natural salt water environment, and they will also accompany you while you snorkel on the surface or below the water. Truly an experience you will never forget!
• Programmes start with a 10 to 20 minute orientation (time not included in total animal interaction time)
• 30 minute animal interaction time
• Programme Check-in times: 10:00, 12:30 and 3.30 daily
• Age restrictions: Must be at least 5 years of age and children 5.6 and 7 must be accompanied by a paying adult/guardian to swim with the dolphin.
