Arrive in Denver
Land in Denver, the Mile-High City and spend the day at leisure after recovering after your travels. Perhaps visiting the Botanical Gardens or see the Denver Art Museum during your free time? Join your Tour Director for this evenings Welcome Reception dinner.

Day 2
Denver – Rocky Mountain National Park - Boulder
Today you’ll journey through the magnificent Rocky Mountains National Park and become face to face with this extraordinary mountain landscape. Drive along the designated scenic byway along Trail Ridge until you arrive to the charming Hotel Boulderado, Colorado’s number one historic hotel centrally located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and arts.

Day 3
Boulder - Georgetown Loop Railroad – Vail – Glenwood Springs
See the Celestial Seasonings headquartered in Boulder and discover the histories of tea with a private guided tour. Serving over 1.6 billion cups of tea a year, Celestial Seasonings blends over 100 ingredients sourced from over 35 countries. Next stop is Georgetown Loop Railroad, Colorado’s oldest attraction built in the late 19th century. Journey on to picturesque Glenwood Springs, a resort known for its soothing hot springs, surrounded by the immense White River National Forest and towering Rockies. Enjoy your stay at the iconic Hotel Colorado and enjoy dinner with some gorgeous wine or some craft beers.

Day 4
Glenwood Springs
Today you’ll be heading up to beautiful Aspen, renowned for its luxury boutiques, restaurants and bars. Join your Tour Director as you walk through the town and take a gentle hike along one of Aspen’s many trails. Get your heart racing with an exhilarating jeep tour towards the historic Burlingame Cabin situated on Snowmass Mountain. Once arrived, sit back and enjoy the stunning views of the mountain ranges or perhaps take an extended jeep tour! Embrace the mountain life as you sit by the campfire with s’mores, listen to live music and tuck in to a delicious lunch off the grill. Back in Glenwood Springs, spend the rest of the day at leisure, a trip here would not be complete without visiting Glenwood Hot Springs, ease those aching muscles in the world’s largest mineral hot springs pool.

Day 5
Glenwood Springs – Colorado National Monument – Palisade
Start off the day at a leisurely pace before heading to Colorado National Monument. Witness striking sheer-walled canyons as they cut deep into rock and sandstone formations. An area of desert land towering on the Colorado Plateau, spot the pinyon and juniper forests on the plateau. Travel towards Palisade, a town known for its peach orchards, honey and wine vineyards. You’ll “Connect with Locals” for an inclusive “Be My Guest” lunch at Colterris Winery with locally sourced produce. This evening you’ll be staying in the heart of the wine country and just steps away from downtown.

Day 6
Palisade – Silverton – Durango
Travel to the Western Slopes along the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway and stop along at Ouray, a quaint town nestled in between the towering peaks of the Rockies. From Ouray, ride along the famous “Million Dollar Highway”, a designated All-American byway through Colorado’s most scenic views as it spirals over Molas Pass, Coal Bank Summit and Red Mountain Pass. Arrive in the mining town of Silverton to board the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway. Completed in the 19th century this coal-fired, steam-powered train chugs along the side of the mountain with incredible views of the landscape below. This evening, choose from three local restaurants for dinner before staying in The Strater Hotel, a centrepiece of Durango and one of the first iconic hotels in the west.

Day 7
Durango
Today you’ll journey to Mesa Verde National park, an ancient cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloan people, its sculptures chiselled from sandstone of the canyon walls. These protected areas are in the hundreds as you’ll spot them throughout the park. Have the rest of the afternoon to spend as you please. Perhaps join an exciting rafting excursion along the Animas River?

Day 8
Durango – Great Sand Dunes National Park Preserve – Colorado Springs
The highlight of today is the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, a monstrous 39-square miles sandbox with the tallest dune soaring to 750ft high, the highest in North America. Learn about the area at the Visitors Centre with a short film and various exhibitions. Meet up with your Local Expert to learn about this natural wonder as you explore the dunes. With some time for lunch in the park, you’ll journey to Colorado Springs, your destination for the next couple of nights.

Day 9
Colorado Springs
Today you’ll have an in-depth tour of Colorado’s famous landmarks such as the impressive Garden of the Gods, observing its mighty, rugged red-rock formations and dramatic vistas. Have lunch in the charming town of Manitou Springs before heading to Olympic City USA, a 1.7-acre of land dedicated to Team USA. Visit the brand new US Olympic and Paralympic Museum and Hall of Fame, have the opportunity to meet an athlete for an exclusive behind the scenes look into their training regime for the Olympics. The rest of the day is at your leisure before a Farewell Dinner paired with wine.

Day 10
Depart for Denver
Today ends your tour as you fly home.
