Overview

Start your adventure in Los Angeles before spending 8 nights on-board the Celebrity Century visiting, Catalina Island, San Francisco, Seattle, Victoria and finishing in Vancouver. From Vancouver you board the Rocky Mountaineer to Banff before flying home from Calgary.

Day 3 Los Angeles, California

Today check out of your hotel and catch a taxi to the cruise port where you cruise adventure begins on the Celebrity Century.

Day 4 Catalina Island, California

It's less than 20 miles off the coast from Los Angeles, but Catalina Island is a world away from the city's bright lights. This area is a santuary of pure paradise.

Day 5 At sea

Whilst you're at sea try out the Murano Restaurant; impeccable service, classic design, world-class cuisine and comfortable sophistication. Experience tableside lobster presentation, an expansive selection of artisanal cheeses from around the world, and an extensive American and French wine list.

Day 6 San Francisco, California

Why not visit the California Academy of Sciences; this museum embodies green architecture in unprecedented ways. The world's biggest all-digital planetarium, for example, employs real-time data from NASA to show spectators cosmic events as they take place.

Day 7 San Francisco, California

Carry on exploring San Francisco today, as you may be able to see the Golden Gate Bridge or book a Taste of Sonoma excursion and visit Chateau St Jean

Day 8 At sea

Spend time at Michael's Club; this intimate atmosphere features deep, welcoming chairs, perfect for sharing conversation, listening to a live pianist, or savoring a nightcap from our extensive collection of fine whiskeys, scotches, cognacs and bourbons.

Day 9 Seattle, Washington

In Seattle visit Chihuly Garden and Glass bursting with vibrant glass sculptures and brimming with colourful flowers. Or go to Pike Place Market where there are more than 400 shops and stalls.

Day 10 Victoria, British Columbia

The capital of British Columbia is located on Canada's largest island, Vancouver Island. This seaside enclave and one time British colony has retained much of its colonial splendor. Victoria blooms with color during the spring and summer months.

Day 11 Vancouver, British Columbia

Today your cruise ends in Vancouver.  Catch a taxi to your downtown hotel for 2 nights .There's plenty to see in Vancouver including Gastown the city's most historic neighborhood, Granville Island a public market selling everything from fresh oysters to heavenly chocolates. Or visit Stanley Park, a 1000-acre rainforest full of nature and places to explore.

Day 12 Vancouver, British Columbia

Spend the day at leisure exploring Vancouver.

Day 13 Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops

This morning check out of your hotel and catch a taxi for the short journey to the Rocky Mountaineer train station.  Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake and into Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 14 Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops to Banff

Your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will see a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today’s highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, of course, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.

Overnight: Mount Royal Hotel Banff.

Day 15 Banff

Today you have a full day at leisure.  We can arrange a sightseeing tour for you from your hotel, or take it easy and enjoy Banff town.

Day 16 Scheduled transfer to Calgary Airport

Today you will check out of your hotel and have an included transfer from Banff to Calgary Airport.

Day 17 Arrive home
