For more family theme park fun, head to Knott’s Berry Farm, which offers water rides, rollercoasters and live entertainment that’s great if you’re sticking to a budget.

When to go to Los Angeles
In January, the temperature typically ranges from 15°C to 23°C, while in August the temperature typically ranges from 26°C to 32°C. However, the weather is generally mild all-year-round. Watch out for the smog which tends to be worst during the hottest days of summer, and the Santa Ana winds during autumn and winter.
As with many places, Los Angeles tourism is affect by American school holidays, but the calendar with the largest impact is that of the entertainment industry. The city has 54 annual film festivals, including the Oscars, around which dates there will always be more tourists.

The 5* Beverly Hilton Hotel is located on the intersection of Santa Monica and Wilshire Boulevard and a very short walk from Rodeo Drive. It is famed as the location of the Golden Globe awards, which have been held there since 1961. Meanwhile, the 4* Sofitel Los Angeles is a stunning hotel with luxury fittings in rooms, located on the corner of La Cienga and Beverly Boulevard, opposite the Beverly Center. The Marriott Downtown Hotel is a 4* 14-storey hotel with mirrored glass that offers floor-to-ceiling windows for panoramic views.
