The Queen Mary Hotel, Los Angeles

General Information

One of the great 20th-century luxury liners, this vessel has been the centerpiece of Long Beach Harbor since 1967. Larger than the Titanic, the boat allows tourists to take a self-guided tour of the bridge, engine rooms and officers’ quarters, while guided tours visit areas of the ship which are otherwise inaccessible. The boat has been turned into a hotel, and features several restaurants, shops and a wedding chapel.

Rooms & Accommodation

The hotel’s 307 original staterooms span three decks and include eight full suites. Each cabin is uniquely appointed, and embellishments vary to include rich wood paneling; Art Deco built-ins; original artwork; and, portholes for outside cabins.

• Inside Stateroom - Are perfect if you’re looking for a place where you can relax, uninterrupted. The windowless inside rooms, at the heart of the ship, will let you catch up on your sleep, no matter what time of day. Each room contains large, original Art Deco mirrors instead of portholes.
• Standard Stateroom - Queen Mary’s compact tourist staterooms offer a place to sit back and relax after a long day out seeing the sights. All rooms have round portholes to the outside.
• Deluxe Stateroom - These newly renovated rooms still maintain the ship’s original ambiance, while giving you all the convenience of modern living. Each room includes a refrigerator, hairdryer, coffee maker, and more.
• Family Stateroom - Gives you an additional bed, so you have more space for everyone. Deluxe family staterooms come with either two queen beds or one king and one twin, and are newly renovated non-smoking rooms with wallpaper. Original family staterooms are available with one king and one twin bed, and have classic wood paneling and classic Art Deco decor.

• Russian Foxtrot Submarine - Descend into the once forbidden confines of this genuine "Cold War Warrior". See the torpedo rooms, the cramped crew’s quarters, the galley, machinery rooms and electronics spaces. See the lethal torpedo tubes and look through her actual attack periscope.
• Paranormal Shipwalk Tour - Experience the Queen Mary through the eyes of a psychic in this guided tour.
• Paranormal Investigation Tour - Personally hunt ghosts using the "tools of the trade" in this tour designed for those who want a chance to delve deeper into the paranormal world.
• Twilight Historical Tour - See the Queen Mary like you’ve never seen it before with the classic historical tour, now offered at nightfall. On this tour, guests will be given a unique look at the history of the ship.

• Sir Winston’s Restaurant - The Queen Mary’s most elegant restaurant, features award-winning Continental and California cuisine, along with unmatched impeccable service.
• Chelsea Restaurant - Features the freshest, most delectable seafood specialties, prepared to unparalleled satisfaction with gorgeous ocean views.
• The Promenade Café - Features a menu ranging from light salads and sandwiches to delectable entrees. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner.

• Champagne Sunday Brunch - Featuring over 50 international entrees, a children’s buffet and harp accompaniment. Brunch is served in the Grand Salon, the ship’s original First Class dining area.
