General Information

The desert of Arizona has become one of the premiere vacation destinations in the world. Nestled up in the foothills of the Rincon and the Catalina Mountains between the Coronado National Forest and the Saguaro National Park, Tanque Verde Ranch provides an oasis of relaxation in a desert mountain setting.

Rooms & Accommodation

• The 74 authentically decorated rooms and suites are fully air conditioned and offer beautiful desert and mountain views. Most have fireplaces and patios. There are different room categories available
• Standard
• These are the most economical accommodations, suitable for one or two people, with either one queen or two twin beds.
• Moderate
• These are larger rooms with two queen size beds and can accommodate up to 4 people. They have either a lovely shared courtyard with a lawn and fountain, or a shared patio with beautiful desert views
• Deluxe
• These are slightly larger than the standard rooms with two queen size beds and a fireplace and can accommodate one to four people.
• Suites
• Most suites have a king bed in the bedroom with two queen sofa sleepers in the living room, a fireplace and patio, and can accommodate up to six people. Several have a king or queen bed in the bedroom with two twin beds in the living room
• Deluxe Suite
• These large suites have two queen size beds in the bedroom and two queen sofa sleepers in the spacious living room, a fireplace and shared patio with a fabulous sunset view, and can accommodate up to six people

Activities

• Through hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking with experienced trail guides, wranglers, and bikers, interacting with an often times lush and inviting desert becomes a safe, enjoyable, and thrilling experience for everyone. With 5 tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, weight room, basketball, volleyball, catch & release fishing**, and miles of hiking trails, fitness and vacation don’t have to stray apart.

For Children

• The fully supervised children’s program provides a fantastic ranch experience for kids ages 4 through 11 years of age
• A new development in the Children’s Program is the addition of a new playground that features three slides, a fort, and many other kid-friendly features

Pool and Beach

• The facilities include both indoor and outdoor heated pools and whirlpools, a separate children’s wading pool, an exercise room, and men’s and ladies’ saunas. Any of these provide the perfect way to relax after a long day in the saddle

Dining

• With the exception of the cookouts and breakfast rides, all meals are served in the main dining room, overlooking the outdoor pool and waterfall, with a majestic view of the Rincon Mountains
• Every evening there is a different choice of five specialty items. With such a wide variety of delicious food, everyone will find just what they like
• The Outdoor BBQ in the Cottonwood Grove features grilled steaks and chicken, vegetables, a large country style salad bar, fresh rolls and two desserts.
• The Mexican Fiesta is held in the Main Dining Room, which is decorated with colorful serapes and piñatas. A 3 piece strolling Mariachi Band for entertainment at all Ranch Mexican Fiestas is also featured
