Soak up the wonderful sights and sounds of a magical New York evening as you sail aboard Hudson’s yacht, overlooking panoramic views of the city’s skyline… an incredibly dreamy experience to exchange vows.

From the moment you step aboard, your breath will instantly be taken away by this unique venue. Your ceremony will commence either dockside or on the deck of the yacht (weather permitting), and you’ll then delight in a wonderful sailing cruise and a three-course Mediterranean style dinner with an open bar. Our Classic Wedding also entails a rose bouquet for the bride and a groom’s buttonhole, as well as a wedding coordinator, private limousine, special cake and live entertainment on board. If you celebrate with our Premier Wedding ceremony, you’ll also be treated to a professional photographer either dockside or on deck of the yacht.

Head up to the yacht’s rooftop bar for sensational panoramas of New York’s glistening skyline, and you will sail down the Hudson River to the Freedom Tower, United Nations architecture and the Statue of Liberty. Other well-known landmarks visible along the cruise include the shimmering art deco spires of the Empire State and Chrysler Building. There are also further hidden gems along the way.

More Information

Get married aboard 'Hudson's' yacht for the experience of a lifetime. Step onto the boat, and tie the knot in a truly unique location that neither of you will ever forget. Then, after the ceremony, enjoy a lovely Mediterranean style dinner and cruise on board for a truly magical evening.  Your ceremony will take place either dockside or on deck of the yacht (weather permitting), then your dinner is served as part of a 2 hour cruise taking in the sensational sights of the New York skyline.   The dinner cruise sails down the Hudson and up to the Freedom Tower, and far enough north for guests to catch a glimpse of the pristine architecture of the United Nations.  No cruise would be complete with a sail past the Statue of Liberty.  The ship then turns around and sets sail back to Pier 81 where you will also have views of the Statue of Liberty. Other well-known landmarks visible along the cruise include the shimmering art deco spires of the Empire State and Chrysler Building. There are also hidden gems along the way.

WHY NOT ADD THE 'NEW YORK WEDDING EXPERIENCE '

Enhance your New York wedding day even further by taking advantage of the our exclusive wedding package add on to the Premier Wedding package with an additional 2 hour limousine trip to take the two of you around New York to some of the most famous locations in New York City including Times Square, Rockefellar Center and the famous Flatiron Building on 23rd Street.  You will be accompanied by a photographer throughout your 2 hours to capture the two of you at these famous sites along with a bottle of bubbly for the journey!  The New York Wedding Experience can be added to your wedding package from £1200.  Alternatively, substitute your limousine for the Vintage New York Taxi Cab for just £1600 for the Wedding Experience.

Documents Required:

•        Valid original 10-year UK passport which expires more than 6 months after the date of your return to the UK.

•        Marriage licence (applied for in New York)

If Required

•        If you have been divorced, decree absolute. If divorced more than once, please bring all your original decree absolutes.

•        If you have been widowed, the original copy of your partner's death certificate.

•        If you have changed your name, the original copy of the deed poll

•        If you were adopted, the original copy of your adoption certificate.

Before you travel:

We do not require any documents to be sent in advance.

When you get there:

At least 24 hours before your wedding day you need to apply for a New York marriage licence.  This is a very simple process which you can complete as a couple together. You will also have a pre wedding meeting with the New York Wedding Planner to go through all aspects of the wedding, including how to obtain your wedding licence.  The meeting will normally take place at your hotel.

You must both apply in person to the New York City Clerk’s Office, Marriage Licence Bureau at 141 Worth Street, New York City.  The cost of the licence is included in your wedding package.  The City Clerk’s Office is open Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and you need to have at least 24 hours grace period from obtaining your licence before the wedding day.

Hudson’s at Pier 81 Wedding Dinner Cruise

Hudsons’ yacht does not operate December 25 & January 1.  Your wedding commences at 5.30pm with general boarding at 6pm.  The cruise departs at 7pm and returns to Pier 81 at 9pm.  For larger wedding groups, a deposit will be required and may also incur an additional group supplement. Children under 3 are free.  Please note the Yacht is subject to a change of vessel fleet and schedule sailing time at any time.  If you would like the photographer to extend their stay with you while on board & throughout the cruise, this can be done at an additional supplement of US$750.
