The perfect venue for an elegant, classic wedding, City Hall is a superb domed building built in a beautiful Renaissance style. This site is home to some of San Francisco’s finest moments, including the marriage of Marilyn Monroe to Joe DiMaggio in 1954.

San Francisco is without a doubt one of the USA’s most amazing, picturesque cities; the beautiful ‘City by the Bay’ is home to lots of unique, wonderful sights including the stunning harbour, magnificent Golden Gate Bridge, the ‘Crookedest Street in the World’ and the vibrant Chinatown. There is no minimum residency period in San Francisco. Renewal of vows and commitment ceremonies are also available.

A wedding here can be as personalised as you would like it to be, in a variety of locations, including City Hall or even on the famous Bridge itself! Your wedding can be just the way you like it, from your choice of the kind of ceremony to your choice of any of the stunning iconic locations and venues. There is no minimum residency period in San Francisco. Renewal of vows and commitment ceremonies are also available.

Weddings take place : Monday – Friday (subject to availability)

Documents Required:

  • Valid original 10-year UK passport which expires more than 6 months after the date of your return to the UK.

If Required

  • If you have been divorced, the original of your decree absolute.

Before you travel:

We do not require any documents to be sent in advance.

When you get there:

Kate Talbot, (a Brit, by the way) is your wedding coordinator in San Francisco and will guide you every step of the way, before you leave and when you get there.  Kate knows the city intimately and will help you choose a location that is exactly what you want, she can also help with any other special services or needs you have.
