Central Park is famous for its wonderful verdant scenery, tranquil atmosphere and iconic status as the slice of quiet paradise in one of the world’s most fantastic cities. This all adds up to a truly wonderful place to have your wedding. Then, travel in style and have photo opportunities outside New York’s most famous sites including the Flatiron and Empire State Building. 

Ending your special day with one of the most special evenings of your life.  The Bateaux Cruise offers one of the ultimate luxurious romantic experiences in the world. The 3 hour classic dinner cruise sails the Hudson and East Rivers past the skyscrapers of Manhattan, providing you with a breath-taking view of some of the world's most celebrated landmarks including Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Battery Park and the world famous Brooklyn Bridge.

Wedding Days and Times

Year round -  Monday to Friday depending on weather conditions  (excluding holidays & special events, subject to cruise operations).  For larger wedding groups, a deposit will be required and may also incur an additional group supplement.  Other dates and weekends available at a supplement.  Not suitable for children aged 5 and under but can be accommodated, please ask for prices. Please note that during January & February, sailings may alter depending on the weather.

Boarding stars at 6:15pm and sails from 7pm to 10pm.  Although you will have your own private limousine to take you to the Bateaux, you will need to make your own transfer back to your hotel, however please do not worry, there are plenty of taxis that pass through Pier 61 and Chelsea Piers.

Additional Information                 

We would recommend a 5 night stay in New York.  At least 24 hours before your wedding day you need to apply for a New York marriage licence.  This is a very simple process which you can complete as a couple together.  You must allow for a full 24 hours to pass from obtaining the licence before you can get married. The cost of your licence is included in your wedding package.  You must both apply in person to the New York City Clerk’s Office, however this is a very simple and easy process and the New York wedding planner will go through all these details in your pre-wedding meeting when you arrive.  Please advise if you have any guests attending as larger groups may incur a guest supplement fee.  Children 4 years and under are not permitted.

Documents Required:

•        Valid original 10-year UK passport which expires more than 6 months after the date of your return to the UK.

•        Marriage licence (applied for in New York)

If Required

•        If you have been divorced, decree absolute. If divorced more than once, please bring all your original decree absolutes.

•        If you have been widowed, the original copy of your partner's death certificate.

•        If you have changed your name, the original copy of the deed poll

•        If you were adopted, the original copy of your adoption certificate.

Before you travel:

We do not require any documents to be sent in advance.

When you get there:

At least 24 hours before your wedding day you need to apply for a New York marriage licence.  This is a very simple process which you can complete as a couple together. You will also have a pre wedding meeting with the New York Wedding Planner to go through all aspects of the wedding, including how to obtain your wedding licence.  The meeting will normally take place at your hotel.

You must both apply in person to the New York City Clerk’s Office, Marriage Licence Bureau at 141 Worth Street, New York City.  The cost of the licence is included in your wedding package.  The City Clerk’s Office is open Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and you need to have at least 24 hours grace period from obtaining your licence before the wedding day.
