Maui, often referred to as the ‘Magic Isle’ is the place where fantasies of the perfect destination wedding come true. Less populated and more secluded than Oahu, Maui offers a varied range of activities and adventures. Maui is Hawaii’s second largest island, encompassing an area of 729 square miles (1,888 square kilometers). It boasts a diverse terrain that ranges from black sandy beaches and rugged coastline to lush tropical forests, cascading waterfalls and white sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. This landscape, and the waters that surround it, make for an exotic island paradise, the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding.
Your wedding ceremony on Maui, can take place in a number of different locations, but here are just a few of our suggestions:
Maui’s south shore is home to many extraordinary beaches and Makena Beach, also known as Oneloa Beach and "Big Beach," is undoubtedly one of the island’s best. One look at Makena and it’s easy to see how this beach got its nickname. This is the largest beach in south Maui, with golden sands extending nearly 2/3 of a mile long and 100 yards wide.
Maluaka Beach is located directly in front of the Westin Maui Prince Resort. This beach is absolutely beautiful has incredible sand just asking to be walked in bare foot and it is a fantastic place to enjoy watching the beautiful Maui Sunsets.
Wedding Days & Times: Monday-Friday mornings (sunset ceremonies may be possible at Makena Beach Cove)
