The scene is set against a romantic sunset of peachy pink, vibrant orange and deep turquoise shades. You’ll have the choice of three sublime wedding venues, including Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park - a sheltered lagoon which overlooks views of Diamond Head and the West Shore, Waialae Beach Park – a sandy beach which features sweeping views of Koko Head Crater, and finally Kahala Beach – a sun-drenched ribbon of sandy coastline lined with emerald palm trees nest to Waialae Beach.

Here at American Sky, we have created two wedding packages to choose from. Our Classic Wedding features a local wedding coordinator, a choice of wedding venues, two seasonal Lei to exchange during the ceremony, some beautiful floral decorations and more. If you choose our Premier Wedding package, you’ll be further treated to an hour of professional photography, a romantic sand ceremony and a sparkling wine toast to celebrate.

  • Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park – Sandy man-made lagoon sheltered against the Pacific Ocean. Located about 10 minutes west of the main Waikiki resort area with views of Diamond Head and the west shore for fabulous sunsets.
  • Waialae Beach Park – Just 18 minutes from the main Waikiki resort area, this sandy beach features a sweeping view of Koko Head Crater.
  • Kahala Beach – Sandy stretch of beach coastline lined with palm trees next to Waialae Beach.

Documents Required:

  • Passport (which expires more than 6 months after the date of your return to the UK)
  • Birth Certificate (Both short and long certificate are acceptable)

If Required

•        If you have been divorced: Decree Absolute is required.

Before you travel:

We do not require any documents sent before your departure, however there is a wedding license that must be started before arriving to Hawaii.  Full details will be sent with your wedding pack.

When you get there:

Wedding licence is NOT included in the cost of the wedding packages – cost is US$65

Oahu (Waikiki)

On the island of Oahu, the rep will direct the clients to the marriage license office when they meet with them.

Additional Information

We would recommend a minimum 4 night stay in Hawaii and be in on island at least 2 days before your wedding.  At least 24 hours before your wedding day you need to obtain your marriage licence.  This is a very simple process which you can complete as a couple together.  You must allow for a full 24 hours to pass from obtaining the licence before you can get married. The cost of your licence is not included in your wedding package.  The cost of the wedding licence is $65.  Transportation to/from the licence office is not included.  You must both apply in person to the Marriage Licence Agent in Oahu, however this is a very simple and easy process and your Hawaiian wedding coordinator will go through all these details in your pre-wedding meeting when you arrive.
