Overview

This is a fantastic journey from Chicago to New Orleans via a charmingly restored Pullman train. Beginning with a two-night stay in Chicago, you’ll have the opportunity to experience what makes this amazing city so popular. Take a trip to the Magnificent Mile, relax in Millennium Park or stop off at Little Italy. From here, you’ll spend a night on a beautifully restored Pullman train, with your drinks and meals included, to give you the chance to step back to a more classic era of travel. Journey to New Orleans for the last portion of your trip, spending two nights experiencing this vibrant destination with its jazz clubs, delicious Creole cuisine and famous landmarks.

Day 1- 2

Chicago

Arrive into Chicago airport and make your own way to to your hotel for a two-night stay. Chicago, often referred to as the ‘Windy City’, offers a wealth of exciting attractions and things to do. Why not head to the Magnificent Mile for a spot of shopping or admire the diversity in each of the neighbourhoods. Chicago has numerous galleries and museums to get lost in, if you’re seeking culture, or you can soak up the bustling nightlife at one of the blues clubs in the city. While you’re here, be sure to sample the famous deep dish pizza – a thick and gooey meal that should not be missed!

Day 3

Pullman Train

Make your own way to the Chicago train station in the morning and board the Pullman train for your overnight stay. This restored train harks back to the golden age of luxury rail travel and is a wonderful experience. Boasting art décor design and plush accommodation, you will enjoy indulgent meals and drinks which are included as part of your stay.

Day 4-5

New Orleans

Arrive into New Orleans today and make your own way to your hotel for a two-night stay. The ‘Big Easy’ is a colourful, vibrant and exciting destination that has a rich and eclectic heritage. Visit the French Quarter which is the cultural hub of the city, dine on classic Creole cuisine that’s bursting with a variety of flavours and explore the famous Bourbon Street. The people here are incredibly friendly and there’s a brilliant atmosphere to the city that you’ll notice from the moment you arrive. In the evening, head to one of the lively bars to listen to some live music.

Day 6

New Orleans

Today you will check out of your hotel and enjoy some last minute shopping in the city before heading to the airport for your flight home.
