Spend 5 nights travelling from Chicago to New Orleans on the Pullman Rail and then depart on an exciting 7 night cruise calling at Montego Bay, George Town, Cozumel and New Orleans. Your cruise is onboard the Norwegian Jewel and will take you to some spectacular snorkelling areas and white sandy beaches.

Day 2 Chicago

A day of leisure in Chicago. Once home to gangster Al Capone, Chicago still provides endless excitement. By day, the city’s high rising architecture provides a perfect backdrop for this financial center. Spend some time shopping famous Michigan Avenue also known as the Magnificent Mile.  At night, the city is transformed by blues clubs, lounges and excellent theaters.

Day 3 Chicago - Pullman Rail Journey

Enjoy a second day at leisure in the Windy City. Chicago is a city known for its art scene. Spend the day perusing the collections at the Art Institute, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Terra Museum of American Art and the many galleries along Michigan Avenue and the River North area are among the best in the country. Transfer independently to Chicago Union Station for your 8pm Pullman Rail Journey departure for New Orleans.

Dinner is served upon departure from Chicago. Enjoy the beautiful nighttime city skyline views while crossing the Chicago River as you depart, relax as the scenery changes to suburban lights and finally scattered farmland. Following dinner, feel free to retire to either the Scenic View dome lounge or the Adirondack Club. The Adirondack Club remains open throughout the trip. Snacks, beverages, beer, wine and spirits are included. While you relax in the lounge the Pullman Porter will convert seating to beds in your room at the time best suited to you.

Day 4 Pullman Rail Journey - Memphis - New Orleans

Early risers can stretch their legs during the ½hour layover in Memphis. The Lower MississippiDelta region marks the first of the southernbayous on display. Civil War era towns, riversand mansions are on display this morning. Just after departure from Hammond, look for alligators from the train as we enter the world famous Louisiana Bayou. Enjoy views of the Pass-Manchac waterway, connecting Lake Maurepas to Lake Pontchartrain. Arrive in New Orleans, a city immersed inCreole culture. The city today is a unique blend of Spanish, French, Caribbean, African andAnglo-Saxon influences. This is obvious in thefood, architecture and of course, the music. Transfer independently to your hotel.

Day 5 New Orleans

A full day at leisure to take in the French flavor and grandeur of New Orleans. This is one of America’s most colorful cities. Riverboats, jazz, Creole cuisine and Mardi Gras have given “The Big Easy” its flamboyant reputation, and that rich heritage continues today. Stop for a cafe au lait and beignets at a sidewalk cafe. Music is always nearby, supplied by the tolling bells of St. Louis Cathedral, the clanging of streetcars and the rhythms of Dixieland Jazz. Take a lazy ride down the Mississippi on an authentic paddlewheel riverboat or discover the mystery of the swamps and bayous.

It's seems nothing can dampen the spirits where the good times roll, the jazz is cool and the food is hot. Get in on the action in the world-famous Vieux Carre, better known as the French Quarter, with its Dixieland sounds and Bourbon Street banter. Tour the charming Garden District or just stroll along the Mississippi.

Fall in love with the laidback lifestyle in Montego Bay. This vibrant Jamaican port's warm welcome includes stunning white shores perfect for swimming, snorkelling and watersports, and grand old plantation houses just waiting to be explored.

Day 13 Cozumel, Mexico

Find pure diving heaven on the small Mexican island of Cozumel. Holidaymakers flock here for the turquoise waters, perfect white sands and outstanding scuba diving and snorkelling thanks to the world's second largest barrier reef.
