See the best of the States in one tour, crossing from the east coast to the west. Start in New York and then head to Philadelphia, Washington DC and Gettysburg before dipping across the Canadian border to view the fantastic Niagara Falls. Back in the States you’ll see motor-city Detroit and Chicago before striking out west with a visit to Badlands National Park and Mount Rushmore. Explore the legends of the Old West at Deadwood and Cody then discover the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone National Park, including, of course, world-famous Old Faithful.
Head onwards through Grand Teton National Park to Salt Lake City, then marvel at the incredible rock formations at Bryce Canyon National Park and Lake Powell before arriving at the Grand Canyon. After time to see this natural wonder you will head down part of Route 66 to arrive in glittering Las Vegas to stay at one of the huge luxury hotel’s on the city’s famous Strip. After the bright lights of the city drive across the Joshua-tree studded Mojave Desert to arrive in Los Angeles to end your grand tour.

Travel through Midwest farm country abundant in corn fields, wheat fields and dairy farms. Then we cross the mighty Mississippi River and travel into the state of Iowa to arrive like Lewis & Clark did 200 years ago on the banks of the Missouri River when we overnight in Sioux City.

Sioux City–Badlands National Park–Mt. Rushmore National Memorial-Deadwood/Rapid City
Travel westward through the grasslands of South Dakota and onwards to Badlands National Park, once home to the buffalo and antelope and filled with strange shaped and colorful rock formations. Then we continue on to the Black Hills, sacred to the Plains Indians and home to Mount Rushmore - an enormous monument to four of the great founders of America - Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt. Spend an evening at leisure.

Deadwood/Rapid City–Bighorn Mountains-Cody*
Enter the state of Wyoming, which has twelve mountain ranges intermixed with deserts and rolling grasslands, and continue to Cody for the night.
