Drowsy Water Ranch is situated 90 miles west of Denver. Six miles west of Granby, Colorado and just 1 1/2 miles off U.S. 40 on a private road. Shuttle transportation services are included in the package price from/to Denver International Airport. Above prices are per person and also include transatlantic flights on scheduled airlines, accommodation for 6 nights in double occupancy and all meals and activities at the ranch. Arrivals must be scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Shorter stays are allowed based on availability, but 3 nights minimum is required. Special discounts available for children and teenagers. Please call for details. Supplements may apply within certain date bands in peak season.

Activities

• The Ranch has programs for children to teenagers with plenty of activities for parents and grandparents alike. There is a complete program of horseback riding, swimming, trout fishing, western dancing, jeep trips, song fests, campfires, hayrides, staff entertainment, raft trips, children’s programs, nearby golf and much more

What to do

• Drowsy Water Ranch has a very special relationship with the 95 or more horses.
• The Horse Program is outstanding and geared to every riding ability and age group. Horses are selected to match your own riding skills. Daily instruction, both in the arena and on the trail help to improve everyone’s proficiency. Advanced riders have many opportunities to explore and blaze trails while handling their horses from leisurely walks to smooth lopes and gallops

For Children

• At Drowsy Water Ranch children are treated with understanding, patience, love and respect. Counselors and program supervisors are college students selected for their experience, attentiveness and interests in child development and recreation. Programs, activities and horseback riding are planned for every age group - 5 and under, 6 through 12 and for teenagers. Supervised programs even include infants. Riding instruction, nature hikes, cook-outs, story telling, fishing, crafts and the heated swimming pool are just some of the favorite things kids love to do

Pool and Beach

• The swimming pool, children’s playground and fishing pond are a stones throw away from the sleeping cabins and main lodge

Dining

• At the ranch they take great pride in the food served, which is lovingly prepared from recipes handed down for generations. Sometimes gourmet and sometimes hearty western...but always delicious.
• Most meals are served family style in the dining room but outdoor meals are highlights. Breakfast on a mountain top; open hearth barbecues; Chuckwagon lunches sometimes right out of your saddlebag. Each day is different
