Tour Information

Discover Oregon and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Start in Portland, the City of Roses, and then cross the coastal range to the mighty Pacific Ocean before taking in the rugged Oregon coastline along Highway 1 - one of the most scenic drives in the nation. Head back inland to wine country and the to Crater Lake National Park via the grand Cascade Mountains. Travel across the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, past Mount Hood and on to the awesome rapids and waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge on the way back to Portland.

Day 1

Arrival into Portland, pick up the rental vehicle and travel to downtown for the first night. Holiday Inn Downtown Portland

Day 2

This morning you will have time to look around the City of Roses’ and visit some of the Portland area highlights. Then on over the coastal range to the Pacific Ocean where you will overnight in the resort community of Seaside.

Day 3

A full day to wander along one of the most scenic drives in the USA--US Highway 1 as you travel down the Oregon rugged coast line. You will find a lot of State Park areas and lighthouses to keep you busy along this route. You will also find one of the west top aquariums in the town of

Day 4

You will again travel down the coast for a short distance before heading back into the central valley--wine country. Then into the rugged Cascade Mountains along the Scenic Byway to the north entrance of the Crater Lake National Park. You will drive around the lake with lots of scenic photo ops (both into the lake and off to the distance volcanic valley) before returning to the north entrance and continuing on to the community of Bend for the overnight.

Day 5

This day you will travel across the Warm Springs Indian Reservation and find time to explore Mt Hood before heading around the mountain to the Columbia River Gorge. This night we suggest to stay in the community of Hood River. BW Inn at Hood River

Day 6

As you return to Portland and the airport on this day you will follow along the Columbia River Gorge and also pass by some ‘pretty awesome’ waterfalls. Afternoon return
to the Portland area/airport for departure
