Day 1

Arrive in Calgary, check into hotel and enjoy a day at your leisure exploring Calgary.
Overnight in Calgary.

Day 2

Calgary to Banff
This morning is your transfer to Banff bringing you through the ranching country west of Calgary. Arrive in Banff and check in to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for exploring the resort town of Banff. Overnight in Banff.

Day 3

Banff
This morning, discover the resort town of Banff and its natural surroundings on a comprehensive sightseeing tour. You’ll take the Tunnel Mountain Drive to see the town of Banff and visit the Cave and Basin National Historic Site (admission to Cave and Basin included). Take a walk along Lake Minnewanka, before the tour continues to Sulphur Mountain. Here you can take the Banff Gondola ride to the top of the mountain (Gondola ride is included). The remainder of the
day is at leisure. Overnight in Banff.

Day 4

Banff to Kelowna
Today you will board a comfortable touring coach and travel from Banff to Kelowna. The route leads west with the first sightseeing break of the day at world famous Lake Louise - one of the most stunning emerald green lakes in the Canadian Rockies. There will be enough time to walk to the lakeshore for your own photo shoot of this famous view and explore the magnificent Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise on your own. Next, the coach makes it way to the summit of Glacier National Park at Roger’s Pass and on to the Spiral Tunnels - an engineering marvel that loops into the heart of Mount Stephen to reduce the steep grade of the rail line. A lunch enjoyed in the alpine town of Revelstoke, renowned for its winter and summer outdoor sports and eco-tourism. As the road winds its way out of the Monashee Mountains, you will make a quick stop in Sicamous, the “Houseboat Capital of Canada”. The last stop today is a short one in the small town of Armstrong before continuing on your journey south into the famed wine region of the Okanagan Valley, through the town of Vernon and on to Kelowna. An evening arrival at your selected Kelowna hotel allows time for dinner and exploration of the lakefront.

Day 5

Kelowna to Vancouver
After breakfast, board your coach and journey to your first stop of the day at an Okanagan winery for an exclusive tour and educational wine tasting. Sample a variety of hand-crafted wines in this unique and authentic setting, surrounded by the actual vineyards where the fruit is produced on site. Continuing west, a brief stop at the Merritt Visitors Centre allows time to stretch and learn about this historic territory. After travelling along the Coquihalla Highway and through the heart of ranching country, a lunch break is taken at during a visit to Minter Gardens followed by guided walk through the exquisite grounds. The approach to Vancouver begins along the mighty Fraser River - a major salmon spawning route with calmer pools set interspersed along the
frothing rapids. Coming down from the Columbia Mountains, you arrive at the sparkling metropolis of Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 6

Vancouver
Today you travel the magnificent Sea-to-Sky highway on a full day excursion to Whistler, experiencing its legendary spirit of outdoor adventure. Long regarded as one of the top resorts in North America, Whistler boasts spectacular mountains, glaciers, terrific shopping , restaurants and some of the most remarkable skiing, golfing, hiking and mountain-biking on the continent. En route to the alpine village, you will enjoy a journey as amazing as the destination along the Sea-to-Sky highway with breathtaking views and scenic stops that include the wonderful 335-metre Shannon Falls. Return to Vancouver where the remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 7

Vancouver
Make your own way to the port to start your 8 day Alaskan cruise onboard

Day 8

Day at Sea
Spend the day cruising and try out the wide range of activities including the swimming pool, spa, gym and exercise classes plus the selection of bars, live music and casino.

Day 9

Icy Strait Point
Spend the day at Icy Strait Point located near the city of Hoonah, the largest
native Tlingit Indian settlement in Alaska, and very near Glacier Bay National Park.

Day 10

Hubbard Glacier
Cruise the longest river of ice in North America; the Hubbard Glacier

Day 11

Juneau
Dock at Juneau, the capital of Alaska, and spend the day admiring the spectacular scenery and exploring the several magnifi cent fjords which are located along the channel coast, and the majestic Mendenhall Glacier, a favourite of visitors, is nearby.

Day 12

Ketchikan
Dock at Ketchikan, a supply base and entry port for miners during the 1898 Gold Rush to the Klondike and visit the nearby Indian villages, where you’ll see colourfully carved totem poles and hear the fascinating legends that surround them.

Day 13

Day at Sea
Start your journey cruising back to Vancouver

Day 14

Arrive back in Vancouver
Transfer independently back to the airport for your flight home

Day 15

Arrive back in the UK
